No doubt posting will be sporatic for the next week or so - it is vacation time. Friends are up for the week so I thought I would take a couple of minutes and throw up some cool sites here. It will help clean up my bookmarks folders - a New Years resolution.
Rotten Tomatoes - great movie review site
DVD Easter Eggs - the little surprises and hidden features that are hidden in most DVDs these days
Not All Americans are Stupid Quiz - take the quiz, prove yourself -I got 12 out of 20
Blog of the Day - looking for something new to read?
Leonardo Dicaprio - apparently he's an environmentalist. I guess I would have to send some Whuffie his way - but the movie is still cheezy.
Mr. Picassohead - a time waster that lets you draw like Picasso
Viridian Design - looking for environmentally sound products?
Penny Arcade - the best part of the site is the comic - especially if you are a nerdy computer and video game fella like someone I know.
Wet Willie - the water slide that might actually work at our camp
The Internet Archive - searchable site that is trying to store all of the information on the internet ever
Pali Overnight Adventures - get past the music and the silly Flash and look at the camps available at the bottom of the page. Rock Star Camp!?! Fun.
Bryce Wilson.Net - site for finding those funny little videos that float around the 'Net.
Threadless - $1000 T-Shirt design competition
The Phoenix Weeps - just a shout out to Gersh for her first website. Shows her artwork.
Welcome to the Meatrix...
An entertaining Flash site with a message. I thought at first it was going to be a militant vegetarian site but I kept watching because of the Matrix parody. Turns out it is about finding ways to support local family farms and not factory farming (too many animals packed in too tightly, pollution, etc). I can buy that - I am a family farm guy. Good way to grow up, good way to eat meat.

And I work with kids... so I have seen some origami in my lifetime.
Seriously, these are the most intense works of art I have seen in al really long time. This man's skill is unbelievable. Checkout Contemporary Origami by HOJYO Takashi.

Just posted a bunch of new Lomos to the "All New Lomos" picture album. Includes: fall in Muskoka, Sass & Aztec's wedding, on the road pictures, etc.
I hope you enjoy.

Soon to be added to my home arsenal: the Catapult Watch (joining my Airzooka - do yourself a favour... don't buy black - BORING).
Real watch that will fire BBs and other little items.
Uncensored Celebrity Outtakes - including the magical cursing mouth of Casey Kasem.
Dreadlocks - everything you wanted to know, and more. This site has some pretty crazy dread pictures and even has 9 methods of how to make them.
I think the most important part might be the instructions on "How to Wash Your Dreads". I wonder how so many people missed this lesson?
(from Boing Boing)
Check this site: The Mushroom House is located in Whistler, BC and was made to resemble a house within a tree. I recommend that you click on the HTML portion of the site - the Flash setup is kind of annoying.
Great site for people interested in alternative architecture!
