Mountain Biking in Muskoka
My stepson Spencer, his friend Doug and I went mountain biking today at the Buckwallow Cycling Centre this morning (link to MTB Review review).
It is my 2nd time biking there (1st was 2 weeks ago with our Senior Bike camp) and it was beauty. The trails are great, well marked, and there is a great mix of basic to advanced trails -lets you push yourself a little bit.
We were talking with Mike, the owner and he is really nice (last time when I was there with camp kids I forgot to bring petty cash and so he let me send him a cheque later) . Beauty. Oh and another good thing: Mike used to be a camp counsellor - We are Everywhere!
Had a great ride with the boys and then went to the Skyway Motel Restaurant (Hwy 11 Northbound, south of Gravenhurst) for lunch... a perfect greasy spoon lunch with a loud waitress who called us each "Love". If you get the Clubhouse sandwich eat with someone who doesn't like the pickles and onions on their burgers. Thanks, Spence! The best topper to a big workout morning.
