Lance Armstrong Inspires Me

I don't know why, I am certainly not a fan of racing, I enjoy a ride but on the road has never been interesting to me.
But Lance Armstrong inspires me. When my watch goes off at 06:20 and I hate it I think to myself "for sure Lance is up by now"
There is a great old New Yorker article that I am reading right now about his comeback from cancer and building up to his 4th consecutive win of the Tour de France in 2002.
Most will know that he is now working on his 5th consecutive win - tieing the record.

Thanks to The Presurfer for this link.If camp life was at all sane I could get up in the morning and lift weights or ride. One of those things that I would change about camp - less work to lead up to summer so there is some energy to take care of myself during the summer months.
