Exploding Dog

Sam Brown's comics are sooooo basic but always emotional and always make me want to keep clicking on one more.
The concept behind the pictures is that people will write him a simple phrase and if they inspire him to draw a picture he puts it up on the site.
Beautiful in it's simplicity.

The first time I ever heard of Exploding Dog was in this awesome issue of Shift magazine (non-current site) this fall/winter called "75 things that make us happy". Shift magazine was a Canadian Magazine about "digital culture" and was about so much stuff that interested me: music, internet (where I first heard of blogging), games, computers, books... and it has been killed. It is such a waste (I had a year left in my subscription, and I had just given Ludo a subscription for Christmas, too).
